Our Story

Greetings! I'm Shade Atherley, the founder of The Life Tool, and I'm excited to share the journey that brought this transformative brand to life. 

I have always been passionate about growth and had an interest in self-development from as little as I can remember. I believe every single one of us has a special purpose (or multiple purposes) that is placed in our heart. The problem is, most people don’t get round to doing anything about fulfilling their potential due to lack of self-belief, doubts, and not having the discipline to follow through with ideas. 

I wanted to change that, and at least provide people with the right tools to become the person they want to be. With having developed multiple pieces of literature across my professional career, and building out a quotes page on social media with over four million monthly views, I knew I had a way of connecting to people through words. 

My personal voyage towards finding purpose was anything but straightforward. I, too, wandered down the paths of confusion and feeling hopeless, pursuing business ventures that didn't align with my inner-self. Yet, it was through deliberate self-reflection, solitude and commitment that I eventually started to align with my hearts’ desires. And suddenly, everything became clear; I am great at creating and have a passion for Life and seeing people thrive, so I put them both together and that is when The Life Tool was born. A brand dedicated on helping people on their journey of Life, creating products to ensure they feel more empowered, inspired and equipped to start their personal growth journey. 

We are so much more than we think, we are capable of so much more than we imagine but place so many limitations on ourselves. If we stayed consistent, and focused on our goals then we could achieve so much in this lifetime.
